A Love For Zara

Zara has always been one of my absolute favourite shops. I lust over their new season things every time a new collection comes out and this Spring/Summer was no different. I have since picked up a few things and thought I would share them with you.

This dress caught my eye the second I saw it and I still absolutely love it. It's made of a nice thick material so it's not sheer like some white dresses can be. It's a great length and I LOVE the mixing of the prints. I love when people pair different prints together and things that might traditionally clash. I'm not quite brave enough to do this by myself out of fear of just clashing rather than "cool clashing" so I love that this dress already does it for you. I've worn this on a night out with big chunky heels and a bright pink lip and during the day with Birkenstocks and sunglasses so it's super versatile!

The dress seen here on a night out. It is not actually this short by the way, raising my arm didn't help!

The next thing I bought was this bright yellow playsuit which I first tried on months ago and loved! I couldn't quite justify it in store but as soon as I got home regretted not buying it and when I went to buy it online it was out of stock. Around a month later I saw it online, called my sister for a "Do I need this?" justification chat and she said that if I was still thinking about it weeks later I needed it. I liked this logic so swiftly clicked Checkout and I'm very glad I did. I got it in a medium because there were no smalls left so it has a bit of a looser fit but I don't mind. I think the high neck and dropped waist are really flattering and I LOVE the print and summery colour. I think it will be perfect for over a bikini for the beach.

The next two items I bought are these matching shoes and bag. I bought these to match a silver dress I had for an event and finding white accessories which don't look cheap and tacky isn't easy. These were more than what I wanted to spend in total but I think they looked really nice with the dress and I will definitely be able to wear them on lots of nights out for as long as they stay white. Note that these aren't real leather, something I normally really don't like but since these were mainly for one night I really didn't want to spend the money on leather alternatives. The shoes are still available here if you're interested, unfortunately I think everything else is sold out.

So there's the lowdown on my latest Zara buys, now I just have to refrain from hitting the sales on payday.. Wish me luck!
