A Day At Sea

One of my absolute favourite days of the entire holiday was this day in Kotor. We took a boat trip out through the bay and visited the island known as Our Lady of the Rocks before stopping off at a cute town called Perast to have a quick swim. The scenery was ridiculously beautiful out in the bay but as I seem to have said that about everywhere, I'll just let the photos do the talking this time.

Bikini is available here and here from Oysho.

Arriving in Kotor

After sadly saying goodbye to Tara Canyon with its amazing food and dreamy surroundings we jumped on a bus and had a very long, uncomfortable journey of sitting on the floor of the bus for 4 hours (we got a seat for the last 3). Luckily the views from the bus were pretty gorgeous and we managed to distract ourselves.

Looking very grumpy on the bus floor.

After getting comfortable in our seats eventually we left the river behind and soon reached the coast.

We were staying in Suranj Hostel where we were warmly welcomed by the sweetest couple with homemade orange juice and yet another beautiful view. Although this is listed as a hostel it only has two rooms and as one of them was empty while we were there we had the bathroom, kitchen and balcony to ourselves. Suranj has the most stunning views over the bay and is only a 5 minute walk from the old town centre. I would highly recommend staying here for a quiet stay and you will meet the sweetest couple who own the house. Max went as far as saying it was his favourite accommodation of everywhere we stayed! And who could argue with that when we had this at the front door?

As the sun set we got showered and dressed and made our way in to the old town.

My playsuit is from Topshop and it was one of the best holiday purchases I made. I can't even tell you how much wear I got out of it. I wore it to the beach, out in the day time in hot cities and, as you can see here, out at night too. I bought it in a size 10 and it was the perfect fit as it was loose enough to allow a bit of a breeze during the day and to hide my food baby at night time! Such a great buy and I can see myself getting a lot of wear out it throughout the year as well. Link here!

We had a lovely meal in Scorpion, a restaurant located in one of the main squares (with very cool newspaper style menus) before enjoying an icecream and wandering around the city. Then it was home to bed to rest for a busy day ahead.
